It has been a very challenging and sobering past week or 2 for many Australians. I run and manage a Digital Agency based just north of Sydney on the Central Coast, with clients all around the country and overseas and I’ve had countless conversations with clients whose businesses have been devastated by the impact the spread of the virus and the subsequent shutdowns.
The stimulus package announcements have been key to many businesses and individuals in working through how they are going to survive the next few months. After trying to find out all the information on stimulus packages that were relevant to my circumstances, I realised the information was spread out all over the place and hence the idea for this website was born. We’re aiming to pull it all together and also provide additional information around support services for people that especially need help at the moment.
Our team worked together over the past week to build the website and now we’re busy pulling together all the information to make it easier for people to find the support they need and direct them to the appropriate government or service website. It’s going to be a big job, and we’ll endeavour to keep it as up to date as possible while continuing to our regular projects and working with our clients.
